American Historical Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) announces new programs to ensure their future.

AHRMA

Goodlettsville, TN (June 3, 2009) The Board of Trustees and the Executive Director of AHRMA have defined several new programs in an effort to raise funds to offset the cash flow loss due to the cancellation of the AHRMA events at Vintage Motorcycle Days in 2009. Due to the cancellation of the AHRMA events at Vintage Motorcycle Days, AHRMA will suffer an estimated cash flow loss of $45,000. To offset this cash flow loss, AHRMA is implementing these new programs.

The new programs are a fund raising program, a lifetime membership program for members 60 and older and raising the membership dues effective December 1, 2009.

AHRMA is implementing the "Friends of AHRMA" fundraising program. It’s simple, according to AHRMA, if every member would donate just $10.00, the $45,000 goal would be met! Your donation, no matter what amount, will help the organization secure the future of vintage racing as we currently know and enjoy it. A new Life Time Membership will be offered. If you are at least 60 years of age, you are eligible to participate in the newly instituted AHRMA Life Time membership program. AHRMA is offering a one-time payment of $650 to members who are 60 years of age and older. The benefits to the member are numerous. Besides not having to process the annual membership renewal, those eligible will be locking in their membership at a rate less than the current rate and will be coming to the aid of AHRMA at time when it needs your help the most. To secure your Life Time Membership click here for the form.

A membership rate increase will be effective December 1, 2009. AHRMA will be increasing the base membership price to $65 effective December 1, 2009. From now until November 30, 2009, AHRMA will be offering the opportunity to renew memberships for two (2) years at the current yearly rate of $45. For just $90 you can secure a two year membership that’s a savings of $40. By taking advantage of this program, you will be able to lock in your membership for an additional 2 years at the current rate. To renew your membership for 2 years click here for the form.

The AHRMA Board and Executive Director are hoping that these programs will get them through the cash flow loss due to the cancellation of the AHRMA events at Vintage Motorcycle Days this year. You do not have to be an AHRMA member to donate to their cause. If you are a fan of vintage motorcycles and vintage motorcycle racing your contribution will help to ensure the continuation of AHRMA and it's vintage racing series.
